WHY REAL ESTATE? Why did I choose real estate? My husband was the mayor of a very small town in Mississippi. When he asked if he could use some of the advertising budget to market the town, he was sadly told that there was no advertising budget.

I began to realize the importance of marketing our schools, shopping, and local eateries to the public using a limited budget and copied materials and social media. Then, I began to realize that people were asking me if I knew of places to buy or rent.

The Lord guided me to this verse:
Jeremiah 29:7 (NIV)"Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried (KJV translates to "caused you to be carried") you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."
As real estate agents, we are responsible for representing our clients as sellers, buyers, or both. We also represent the cities we work and live in. We become knowledgeable in the local schools, shopping areas, workplaces, roads, contractor services, banks, doctors, childcare centers, churches, nail salons, pet grooming centers, restaurants, landscapers, theaters, lenders, appraisers, attorneys, and just about every other facet of life. We become somewhat of a personal "concierge" to our clients.

While working a full-time job with a secure paycheck and benefits, I was trying to decide about going into real estate. I knew what my decision would be when the time was right. I enjoy marketing our city and showcasing its benefits to potential residents looking for homes or commercial opportunities, I enjoy helping people with their real estate needs and navigating through the process. I enjoy providing an excellent "concierge" service to my clients.

Get to know
Tim Cutts was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Army Private Dewitt Cutts and his wife, Jessie. He was raised in Choctaw County, MS, by two fantastic schoolteachers. Education was important in their home. Tim attended Weir High School in Weir, MS, and graduated in 1979. A talented athlete in multiple high school sports, he played football at Mississippi State University and studied Accounting. He was awarded All-Academic SEC in ’83, the same year he received his degree in Accounting.
Rather than pursue the CPA, Tim took a Professional Football League offer with the New Jersey Generals of the USFL (United States Football League--A little claim to fame-- Donald Trump was the owner). After the league closed, he decided to put that degree to work in several aspects of the Transportation Industry. During that time, he met and married the love of his life, Tonya L. Cutts. They have been married 36 plus years and have three children. He worked in Transportation for over 31 years in many different roles ranging from Terminal Manager, Salesman, and a Broker/Owner with his wife.
